About LMSstorytellers
Whether of triumph or tragedy, we all have a story to tell. Joseph Green’s begins with the darkness of drug addiction and the death of a close friend, and it persists with the light of strength built, lessons learned, and a way to pay it forward.
We all have a story to tell.
My name is Joseph Green and I am a spoken word artist, educator, and motivational speaker with over 20 years of experience creating dialogue that’s led to success in classrooms, boardrooms, and living rooms. I believe strongly in storytelling’s innate ability to connect people to their higher purpose and to one another – creating a world that is a better place for everyone.
With a background in theatre and performance poetry, my speaking engagements are a combination of my own life story, the stories of the hundreds of young people I’ve worked with, and the wisdom of the infinite mentors I’ve had through my journey. Having facilitated over 5000 workshops for audiences ranging from school-aged children to working adults, I have led conversations on inclusion, mindfulness, addiction recovery, identity development, creative writing, youth empowerment, and more.
Customized for the audiences I’m speaking with, I craft workshops that intertwine storytelling with spoken word where participants can reimagine and reconstruct how we can all understand wellness, community care, and self empowerment.
